Meryl's Ski Sweater
This is my sister-in-law’s Christmas present. For 2008.
Meryl’s mother had a blue ski sweater that Meryl inherited. She loved it, but alas, it was lost some where along the way.
All I had to go on was a poor-quality scan of a 28 year-old photo.

Aran Long Cardigan
Digital photography is a miserable thing. I have yet to figure out the ideal combination of shutter speed and aperature to bring out the shadows of white-on-white cables. Lighting has something to do with it, too. Someday I should take a class and really learn this stuff.

"Miami Ice" Icelandic Pullover
A month’s knitting for a Christmas present. Not bad.

Professor Brian's raglan cardigan
Last year’s Christmas present, finally done. Yay! The shawl collar worked out perfectly. Very cozy and I’m sure “Professor Brian” will appreciate it – come next winter.

Black tweed pullover
This sweater has met all my expectations. Too bad the black yarn just doesn’t show the detail so well in a digital photo.
There’s a fullness at the shoulders which I had not planned for, but I am finding rather charming.

Molteni jersey
This sweater is a Christmas 2001 present for my brother-in-law. He wanted a sweater based on a bicycle racing jersey, formerly belonging to Eddie Merck of the Molteni racing team. The original jersey is shortsleeved. Note the fancy stripes on the newly added cuff. These stripes denote bicycle championship status.
