Here it is, the final product. I had Dad try it on when he was here. The sleeves were a little short so I added about 1-1/2” to them.

"Miami Ice" Icelandic Pullover
A month’s knitting for a Christmas present. Not bad.
True to form I ripped and reknitted the yoke three times. I wasn’t quite satisfied with the fit and am still not, but I trust to the magical powers of blocking to smooth out imperfections.

Paprika Half-Aran
I have finally come to accept that a computer monitor can never display the glorious color and texture of this yarn. I did a little (read “a lot”) of Photoshop on these photos to attempt to get at least close to the color while maintaining crispness of detail.

Black tweed pullover
This sweater has met all my expectations. Too bad the black yarn just doesn’t show the detail so well in a digital photo.
There’s a fullness at the shoulders which I had not planned for, but I am finding rather charming.

Molteni jersey
This sweater is a Christmas 2001 present for my brother-in-law. He wanted a sweater based on a bicycle racing jersey, formerly belonging to Eddie Merck of the Molteni racing team. The original jersey is shortsleeved. Note the fancy stripes on the newly added cuff. These stripes denote bicycle championship status.
