A box of yarn
My final WEBS sale order came yesterday. I was frankly disappointed. I ordered four bags of Jo Sharp DK at the unbelievable price of $28/bag, 10 balls/bag. One of the colors I ordered was sold out, so I didn’t get two of my bags. The other two colors looked nothing like I expected. What I thought would be a grayish blue turned out to be dark olive. What I thought would be a deep garnet turned out to be distinctly brown.

So I’ve got these twenty balls of dk yarn, ten olive and ten brown and I don’t know what to do with them. They’re not bad colors, just colors I wouldn’t have picked out. I’ve never knit with Jo Sharp before but have always admired it. It feel like it has wonderful drape and would probably make a smashing afghan.

i vote for smashing afghan. i hate it when mail order yarn is not as expected, but it may turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
