I was thinking about this the other day in qigong. My favorite place in the whole world is the bottom of the breath.
Breathe in. Pause. That is the top of the breath.
Exhale. Pause. The bottom of the breath.
As we go through series of qigong exercises, I find myself wishing I could just hang out a little longer at the bottom of the breath. It seems to be where I’m most comfortable.
I realize I am holding tension in my pelvis and consciously unlock it. Everything settles into place.
