Hot or not?
Today I participated in the Hottest Day of the Year ride, sponsored by OR Bike. I didn’t do the serious 40-mile ride, I did the cute little mostly flat urban 15-mile ride with all the little kids. I added on 12 miles by riding to the start location and back again. I even went over Terwilliger hill on the ride home.
It was pretty much like the Worst Day of the Year ride six months earlier, a few degrees warmer, maybe. Cloudy and overcast until the end of the ride.
My calves are sore from sparring yesterday. I’ll see how I feel tomorrow, decide then whether or not I’ll ride to work.
