It's pronounced pahn-YAY.
Finally I have removed the final obstacle to bike commuting. High gas prices, you can bite my shiny metal bike.
Saturday E dropped off my laptop at the bike shop. I was basically forced to ride over there and get a new rack and saddle bags, just so I could get my laptop back. Best of all, E paid for it all as a surprise birthday present. If I had known that ahead of time, I would have gotten two saddle bags.
Today I rode to work for the first time since last October, hauling my beastly laptop. I must have retained at least some of my previous bicycle fitness. It wasn’t as bad as I remembered. I didn’t have to drop into the “granny gear” once. Even the Haines Street Bridge, the bane of my bicycling existence, wasn’t too bad.
Maybe the new saddle bag on my bike will help me get rid of the ones on my thighs.
