My camera is here.
Amazon is FAST! I checked the tracking yesterday afternoon and it said the camera had just been shipped, estimated arrival Saturday. I got home from work and there it is on my doorstep already. My new Canon A720.
I couldn’t wait to get it out of the package. It comes with a couple alkaline batteries and a wussy little 16MB SD card, so I can take like, two pictures. That 6x zoom is nice. Colors look good and as long as I’ve focused correctly, the photos are nice and clear. Of course my test subjects were the kitties.
The flash recovery is dreadfully slow, but I knew that from the reviews. I’m hoping that it will be faster with NiMH batteries that should come today or in the next few days.
Yippee a new manual to read through.
