June moon spoon goon.

Hard to believe it’s June already. After a wet week, it’s warming up. Time to get out the sprinkler and start watering the garden. My strategy is to water heavily for June and July, then cut off the water for the rest of the summer.

I had a very relaxing weekend, just me and the cats. I didn’t want to go back to work today, but bills must pay. I did some shopping: gifts for my nephew who is having a birthday and for my niece who is graduating high school. I updated the PAWMA camp web site. I polished my Chinese export silver dresser set. I weeded the garden and trimmed the forsythia. I sold books back to Powells.

That last activity in particular has to be done surreptitiously, when E is gone. He gets so nervous when I sell back books. But I feel it is necessary to periodically cull the collection. We’re getting to the point we’re going to have to buy a larger house just for all the books.

I added a new section to the web site: Photos. Not that I have a lot, just yet, but it’s nice to get them all into one place.

Before I installed Moveable Type, I hand coded all my web pages. All of the additional content is still hand coded and I haven’t mastered server side includes. So when I make a navigation change, I have to change every single page. Thank heavens for batch search-and-replace.

BTW E is back. He’s happy, I’m happy, the cats are happy.
