Starting Monday I’ll be working a “real” job. Not that the work I’ve been doing hasn’t been “real” (in case any of my clients are reading this.)
I’ve just taken on a 3-month 40hr/wk contract coding HTML. It’s pretty straightforward, nothing I can’t do. It’s still production work, but a little more challenging and interesting to me than print production. Plus it’s good money. And who knows, it might lead to something more fulfilling once they realize my full range of talents.
Hmmm, perhaps I should go buy new clothes?
Of course, this means the end of sleeping in until alarm kitty becomes unbearable, the end of Law and Order lunch dates with the Tivo, the end of working in my bathrobe until noonish.
