Pity the poor plants.

I transplanted a couple volunteer plants a few weeks ago: a butterfly bush and an African daisy. I’m trying to keep them alive, hoping they’ll survive the winter. It has hardly rained, so I keep giving them water. They don’t look good. My fingers are crossed.

  1. I bought some wild geraniums this summer that were tiny to begin with and perished in the heat, or so I thought...not a green speck anywhere. Now in the cold, they are lush and thriving. I'd better get them to the garage, though.
